Appearance:

Both sizes have a long, narrow body and short legs. They have a distinctive shape and are easy to recognize. Dachshunds come in three coat types: smooth, longhaired, and wirehaired.

Temperament:

Dachshunds are known for their loyalty, courage, and spunky personalities. They are intelligent dogs and can be stubborn at times, which can make training a challenge. Longhaired Dachshunds require more grooming, as their coat can easily become tangled and matted. Wirehaired Dachshunds have a rough, wiry coat that needs to be hand-stripped to maintain its texture.

Training and Exercise:
